Edtech platform Rodha named sponsor of Team India for the 2026 championships in Kolkata
New Delhi, [India], 01 October, 2026: Rodha, one of India’s leading online learning platforms, has become sponsor of Team India for the 2026 World Sudoku Championship and World Puzzle Championship. The Rodha logo will feature prominently on the official jerseys worn by the Indian players as they represent the country at the global championships.
The 19th World Sudoku Championship and the 33rd World Puzzle Championship will be held at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat from October 11 – 18, 2026, bringing some of the world’s finest Sudoku and puzzle solvers to India. Hosted by Logic Masters India under the aegis of the World Puzzle Federation, the championships feature individual and team competitions that test logical reasoning, accuracy, speed and problem-solving at the highest level.
Ravi Prakash, Founder & CEO, Rodha, said: “Problem-solving is at the heart of everything we do at Rodha. We have always believed that education should go beyond helping students clear an examination – it should teach them how to think, how to approach an unfamiliar challenge, and how to keep working until they find a solution. In an age where AI can increasingly provide answers, the distinctly human ability to ask the right questions, reason deeply and solve complex problems will become even more valuable. The members of Team India represent that spirit at the very highest level. We are incredibly proud to support them as they carry the Indian flag onto the world stage.”
For Rodha, the partnership is a natural extension of its learning philosophy. The company’s work is driven by the aim of bridging the gap in access to quality learning, so that students from all parts of the country, including smaller towns and grassroots communities, can prepare for and secure admission to the country’s top colleges.
Sudoku and competitive puzzles demand many of the abilities Rodha builds in its students: structured thinking, pattern recognition, logical reasoning, speed, accuracy, resilience and the ability to perform under pressure. Through its association with Team India, Rodha aims to spotlight India’s community of competitive problem-solvers and inspire more young people to engage with logic, mathematics and puzzles. The partnership also reflects the company’s commitment to giving achievements of the mind greater visibility and recognition.
The 2026 edition is a significant one for India, which is hosting the championships for the third time. The World Sudoku Championship will be played on October 12–13, and the World Puzzle Championship on October 15–17.
